The Phenix glass crankbait rod is a series of rods constructed
from a fiberglass blank which is intended for crankbait techniques. The
Fiberglass cranking series from Phenix Rods is comprised of three models
ranging from 7' - 7'9". Some anglers prefer fiberglass rods when using
crankbaits because of the forgiveness displayed by the slow action and
parabolic bend of the material. That forgiveness allows fish to fully engulf
the crankbait before the angler pulls it from their grasp upon feeling the
strike.
