New for 2013 is our 7’4†Med-Hvy Frog rod (Rod Model
F90474b). We listened to the series frog fishermen of the Potomac, Midwest,
Florida, West Cost Delta, and all across the country were nothing excites
anglers like a frog skipping across thick mats, because you know any moment
there could be a blow UP! The F90474b was designed with a little longer handle,
9.5" from behind the reel seat to the end of the butt. The handle design
is so critical to making sure you are comfortable and having the leverage
needed to handle big fish in sloppy conditions. The F90474b has more tip than
our 7’ Mag-Hvy (Rod Model M8457), which is really nice for making extremely
long cast with hollow belly topwaters. The F90474b has the perfect match of tip
and backbone specifically designed for frog fishing.
We still offer our 7’ Mag-Hvy because a lot of situations
require maximum power. The M8457 was designed for throwing topwater over thick
mats. The M8457 Frog Rod is extremely stiff and provides the power necessary to
ensure a great hook set when the bait is a country mile from the boat and to
control the fish in the thickest mats.
Cashion Frog Rod blanks are constructed from all carbon fiber, which makes them incredible light yet POWERFUL. The uni-directional manufacturing process of Cashion blanks makes them incredibly strong against tensional forces because all the carbon fibers that make the blank run the length of the rod. Cashion Frog Rods are designed with a Fuji blank-exposed reel seat which means your hand is in direct contact with the rod so you feel everything. Our Frog Rods have all Fuji Microguides, which give you incredibly accurate casting control, and unheard of distance, not to mention extraordinary hook setting power. Cashion Frog Rods contain our exclusive carbon fiber split grip handles, which feel great in your hand. Our carbon fiber grips are more durable than cork or foam, plus they are denser, which allows vibrations experienced at the rod tip to travel directly to your finger tips.
